Our client, a small, locally owned legal firm based in the heart of Toowoomba, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their close-knit team. This position can be worked full-time or four (4) days per week, if preferred.

The successful candidate must be an office all-rounder with broad legal experience, although applicants must have some conveyancing knowledge, and trust accounting experience would be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reception duties
  • Diary management
  • Managing conveyancing files
  • Will and Power of Attorneys
  • Coordination of legal documentation
  • Trust Accounting ie drawing cheques etc

Applicants for this role must possess high level computer ability; strong communication skills, both written and verbal; and the ability to work autonomously. All candidates should possess high level computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel and Outlook.
