Our client, a Government department based in Toowoomba (or possibly Ipswich if preferred), is seeking the assistance of a temporary Human Resources Advisor for a six (6) to eight (8) week period, commencing immediately.

The role will involve the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Employee and Industrial Relations management
  • Staff Performance management
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Recruitment process coordination ie placing advertisements, coordinating interviews, reference-checking, interview participation
  • General Human Resources activities
  • Desirable
  • Qualifications in Business or Human Resource Management
  • Government experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist with exposure to talent acquisition, employee relations and benefit management.
  • Understanding of employment of legislation

Candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years in the Employee Relations/Human Resources field and must possess high level communication and interpersonal skills.
